I just graduated my twelve-year-old from copywork to a commonplace book! She has been filling a lined notebook page each day with her copywork and I'm pleased with the neatness and consistency of her work. Now she may choose what and when to copy into her common place book, choosing texts of exemplary example or of particular meaning to her. I reserve the right to bring back copywork if she becomes lax with her handwriting.
