"Mom?"
I figure that each one of my kids says "mom" at least once every 30 minutes. The frequency goes up the younger the child—but let’s look at the conservative numbers here: That's eight "moms" an hour. Approximately one every 7.5 minutes. 96 interruptions in a 12 hour day. Imagine someone flicking you in the nose every 7.5 minutes. Try as I might to maintain my patience, that's how it starts to feel at the end of the day.
