I'm teaching myself to tat. No, not with ink and skin but with thread and shuttle. I've finally figured out to flip my stitches and how it is supposed to "work." But I'm still very clumsy with holding the tread and making picots (the little loops). This is my first attempt at making a daisy chain. I'm practicing to keep all those little loops consistent in size. My master plan (you knew there was one) is to make lace edges for various linens and maybe some snowflakes for the Christmas tree and of course to teach the girls.
