A Challege for Parents: First Time Obedience

We've (and when I say we I mean Steve and I) have been working on first time obedience with the kids. Being a former counter and prone to raise my voice this is real challenge for me. But I'm learning to build a new habit as are the kids (hopefully).

For a biblical perspective on first time obedience, mentoring, and training children listen here:

Reforming My Mind (Scroll down to Hardin Baptist Church and click Child Training.)

This is the Catechism for Young Children mentioned in the MP3.

And a book by Ginger Plowman on first time obedience: Don't Make Me Count to Three: a Mom's Look at Heart-Oriented Discipline.
