“How many Red Bulls have you had today?”

It may seem like a waste of a Saturday to most, but this morning I did one of my favorite things. I moved everything out of the living room, vacuumed the edges, wiped down the base boards, cleaned under the cushions (which aperantly needed to be done because my dear mother-in-law found a screwdriver in the couch last week), knocked the cobwebs off the curtain rods, washed the windows, dusted everything, culled the undesireables, and rearraged the furniture. It's a lot of work, but I love the way everything seems new and clean afterwards (even though it's really the same old Odd Lots specials and antique mall finds as before).

I like having a standard couch rather than the sectional we previously had; I can move it to several locations. I hadn't tried this position before, but I'm pleased with the way it looks in front of the quit Mom made and Grandma's table as a side table.

I finally feel better and back into the swing of summer thanks to that second z pack! Next up: the kitchen!
