The girls and I planted some wheat grass and some narcissus bulbs this week. This is our first time forcing bulbs so I can't really say I know what we're doing and I question the health of the bulbs (they seems a bit unsubstantial for bulbs) and I don't know that we'll have enough time for the cooling process to get any root growth. But, you don't learn unless you try, right? I've put the pots in the garage to chill the bulbs and in a few weeks or so we'll bring it back indoors and see what happens. Hopefully we'll have some yellow flowers come up in time for spring.
