On Friday we went to the park, had a picnic, and did a little reading from The Princess and the Goblin. The girls had a blast digging around in the rocks of the dry "creek bed," counting the seeds from the honey locust seed pods, listening for the wood peckers, and adding to their Nature Journals.
On Saturday we finished building our raised garden beds and the girls planted tomatoes, carrots, and pumpkins. Strawberries will be forthcoming.
