Makenna has discovered how to get "curly" hair. After her bath she hands me a handful of small elastic bands and we sit and braid 14 braids in her hair. In the morning, she takes them out and is so excited to go to school and show everyone her "new" hair. Her plan is to do this every night, well, apparently, forever.Mental note: teach Makenna to braid her own hair.
